Compassion For Those In Need
When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.”
But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children. (Matthew 14:13-21)
As God provides for the ministry through the generosity of our Partners and Friends we are able to help and feed the needy. Also we are able to minister the good news of the gospel to the world through every available media. Your donations will be used to teach the strong meat of the word into the nations and growing sons out of children.
By Gods grace we have been able to help orphanages in India, South Africa, Ghana, Uganda and a prison in Suriname over the past five years with clothing. Now, we are trusting and believing God to be able to help many more nations with not just only clothing, but also shool books, bibles and many more matirials.
Carribbean Islands
You are probably aware of the horrific storm that passed through St. Martin and other Caribbean Islands recently. The category four hurricane destroyed lives and properties. Survivals are now faced with the challenge of rebuilding from scratch. You will agree with me that the people of St. Martin and other affected Islands could use some external help from you and me. The rebuilding effort of the survivals of Hurricane Irma will require the collective efforts of the small and the mighty from far and near, to succeed.
To this end, we, at the Compassion department of Stitching Kelly Oriakhi Ministries, Bussum, The Netherlands in collaboration with other relief agencies are busy collecting clothes and shoes to send, as relief supplies to the people of St. Martin. We, therefore, appeal to you to support this noble cause of helping survivals of Hurricane Irma in St. Martin to get back on their feet. And as you send in clothes and shoes, we equally urge you to send money to facilitate the shipping. It takes money to get the relief materials to where they are needed.
Thank you for your understanding and for your anticipated support.
In 2017 we send 10 bags of clothing to the Carribbean.
